New Twitter In The Next Few Days

This isn’t tech war but instead a way of keeping up in the very competitive world of technology. Twitter is bound to be Facebook’s toughest competitor in the world of social media. Although they’re comparable in terms of layout and so many things, it can’t be denied that they keep on improving themselves for a certain hidden fear that only of them will stay on top.

Just recently, Facebook just made it known that they will be rolling out their ‘timeline’ design for all its users. A ticker also appeared in right side bar of the site to keep you posted on what your friends are doing. Twitter on the other hand added the ‘activity’ button in their site which does a similar job to Facebook’s ticker.

Morever, Twitter Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer Dick Costolo announced in an event in San Francisco that in the coming days, there would be a whole new twitter. The service will feature tabs at the top of the screen that let users more easily access their home pages, connect with others and discover new content. “As other services tack feature after feature after feature on top of each other, we’re going to go in an entirely different direction and offer simplicity in a world of complexity,” Costolo said. “This new Twitter is really a foundation for us,” he added.

“Keeping the improvements flowing is one way of being on top,” says Andi Smith, an entrepreneur who’s into boats for sale in Philippines and a social media enthusiast. He utilizes social networking sites to promote his business.
