English Premier League Banned Vuvuzela-Vuvuzela has been the subject of controversy in the recent World Cup held in South Africa.
Eight English Premier League Clubs forbade the use of South African instrument called “vuvuzelas” in British football stadiums in the upcoming season. The said instrument produced annoying noise, and health risk among football fans.
The primary goal of the club is to ensure the safety of football players and supporters.
On Monday, Tottenham Hotspur became the first side to outlaw the use of horns and followed by North London rivals Arsenals. The rest of the league banned vuvuzelas on Tuesday afternoon.
Majority of premier leagues asserted that the presence of the instrument “vuvuzelas” posed risk to public health and safety. The incessant noise hampered the ability of the players to get rest and degraded the quality of team performance. This also hindered all football fans to hear any emergency safety announcements.
Apparently, the instrument disrupted team communication and players concentration during matches.
